Review by hotel critic
Upon checking into Best Western, I found the staff to be pleasant and helpful, reflecting the warmth that is characteristic of German hospitality. While the view from my room wasn't exceptional, the cleanliness and efficient Wi-Fi made up for it. The hotel's location was ideal for my needs, and the breakfast spread was satisfactory.Throughout my stay, I appreciated the friendliness of the staff in various departments, from the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping. The proximity to the St Leon Rot golf course was a definite plus, and the ease of access to Heidelberg added value to my trip. The hotel's response to the heatwave was commendable, with the receptionist offering helpful advice and a fan in the room.Although the room's renovation on the top floor was lovely, I found the overall value proposition of the hotel to be moderate. While the amenities provided were sufficient, I would have expected a bit more luxury for the price point. In conclusion, Best Western offers a decent stay with good service, but for those seeking a truly luxurious experience, they may need to explore other options.
